What is energy? In this fun series, learn all about the different types of energy, where energy comes from, renewable vs non-renewable energy, and how to conserve energy. Join us as we dive into the world of energy through exciting game-based learning.
About GBL STEAM
Throughout these exciting lessons, we will learn about a variety of topics within science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Students challenge their knowledge while guiding their teacher through fun and exciting game-based challenges.
Lesson 1 - Introduction to Energy
In our first lesson, we will explore the exciting world of energy! You will learn about 10 different types of energy and take a look at different examples as you discuss them with your classmates. At the end of the lesson, we will dive into a unique game-based obstacle course, designed to review what you have learned.

Notice of Motion Sickness
Children with severe motion sickness issues are highly recommended to not take this course. It is not common, but in rare cases, Roblox or video games can cause motion sickness.
Language Requirement
GBL STEAM Science Language Requirements
Students must meet the following language requirements in order to take this course.
Speaking Skills: Beginner
- Students will need to be able to respond in basic sentences and count in English with support.
Listening Skills: Beginner
- Students will need to be able to follow simple instructions with support.
Reading Skills: Beginner
- Students may be required to read single words or simple sentences with support.
Writing Skills: Beginner
- Students will be required to write numbers and sums during class.
For students currently taking an ELA program, they must currently be within ELA Standard Level K or above.
Policy
Cancellation Policy
You may cancel anytime before the application deadline and you will not be charged any cancellation fee. However, if you cancel after the application deadline, 100% of the course fee will charged as a cancellation fee.
Supervision
GBL STEAM Science Roblox Supervision
Parental/legal guardian supervision is optional.
Supervision during class is optional. However, it is recommended that parents supervise their child any after-class gameplay.
